Will the bronzing formula stain my clothing? No, the sunless spray tanning solution which includes a cosmetic bronzer is water soluble and will be removed after the next wash in cold water. However, in some instances, the DHA in the tanning solution may permanently stain undergarments worn during the spray session. How long does Sunless Spray Tanning last? A Sunless Spray Tan can last up to 7 days depending on the formulation you choose and the condition of your skin.

Are there ways to enhance the Sunless Spray Tanning results? Over the counter products are not formulated for Sunless Tanning. What is DHA? The active ingredient most often used in all sunless tanners including tinted moisturizers, self-tanners, and spray tan solution is called Dihydroxyacetone, or DHA. For this reason, it is recommended that you only Versa once in a 48 hour period if you wish to be much darker.

Will it cause my freckles to show if I normally freckle when I tan? Unlike regular tanning, freckles will not show or be enhanced by the VersaSpa bronzing solution. Is it confusing? Swimming in chlorinated water or salt water can fade results, cause possible streaking and will diminish the length of your tan. We recommend avoiding these situations for the first 48 hours following your spray tan. However, normal activities such as bathing, showering or physical activities could affect the longevity but not the quality of the tan.

To prevent this from happening, there are a few things you can do: - Do not use bar soaps before your sunless session. Be sure to not only evaluate how much product you apply to the skin, but what the concentration level of DHA in each product is. Sunless products that are designed to give a darker color may not be desirable for fair skin. Some people notice a slight starchy smell on their skin a few hours after a tanning session. This is simply the DHA reacting to proteins in your skin and it fades away fairly quickly.

Many components used in sunless spray solutions have been successfully used in cosmetics and food products for decades, and have been proven safe for use on the skin. Put a small amount of solution on a small area of your skin to test for possible reactions. While no one should purposely inhale or ingest the tanning Mist, it is known that DHA the active tanning ingredient is a non- hazardous compound and causes no adverse reaction in moderate quantities when applied topically or even ingested. Immediate After Care: It is recommened tat you do not shower for hours after your spray tan. Showering before the hour time frame may lighten up your color and impact the results of your spray tan. Doing so may cause streaks. DO NOT wash your face before your first shower either. There is a bronzer in the solution, which means you will have some color immediately after your spray tan.

The color will continue to darken as the solution develops. Your color will lighten after you shower off the bronzer. You will see color coming off in your first shower. Your spray tan is not washing off, it is just the bronzer. Working out with the bronzer on may cause your tan to streak.

We recommend rinsing off the bronzer and then taking a full shower after working out. This is to eliminate taking two full showers back to back. The more you shower the quicker your spray tan will fade.

Go easy around water the day you get sprayed- this includes everything from doing the dishes to brushing your teeth. While you can still do these things, it is recommended that you use caution when you are near water to ensure you do not streak your spray tan.
