Zonda where is made

Fantasma Evo. Dictated by the following words: 'less weight, more power, three pedals, red carbon! Consequently the whole car was and tuned, quite to what extent we don't know. What we do know is the car is adorned with the manual six speed of old.

Zonda by Mileson - Mileson Guo, that is. Bits are borrowed from the LM, as well as an almighty double rear wing, for maximum double downforce yo. AG Roadster. Almost entirely blue, it also features a three pedal set up. Built not for a customer, but for Bingo Spots, Japan's official Pagani dealer.

Personally specced by Horacio Pagani himself, the car was required to remain in situ for at least six months. Kiryu, by the way, is Japanese for 'machine dragon'. Note the unique milled exhaust surround, reminiscent of an engine you'd find on NASA's finest. A third honourable mention here for the Zonda Zeus - not much is known about this variant, presumably another commission that never saw the light of day. Pity; more cars need to be named after Greek gods.

Zonda Oliver Evolution. This used to be the GJ until it was crashed again and commissioned for the owners 9 year old son. In terms of 'my first car for when I pass my test', this surely has to be the ultimate. Previous the Zonda X, the owner fancied a bit of a rebrand - thusly the X was sent for a rather fetching purple respray with a few bits added on for good measure.

Strangely the smurf blue interior was left as is. Interesting combination. Previously a Zonda F, the internals were upped to specification, Cinque bits attached to the outside and finished in a rather tasty white on black on blue paint scheme. Zonda MD - once an F, now upgraded to spec with Cinque bits.

Most notably it is covered in a lovely marine blue lacquer. In , an oil slick caused a nasty crash; naturally Pagani repaired it, and for good measure fitted a manual 'box. Again, every cloud and all that Diamante Verde - Green Diamond. Very little is known about this roadster, other than it features a three pedal set up and various bits from previous one offs. Zonda Aether. A Zonda F Roadster with the upgrades, as well as a three pedal set up. Perfect spec, IMO. Pagani himself designed this as a 60th birthday present, it is a truly unique design; bespoke wheels with the rears covered by carbon shrouds borrowed from the ZoZo, the driver sits in a seat from the Huayra Roadster operating a three pedal set up.

At the rear sits a special titanium exhaust built especially for the Barchetta, and at the front sits a by Mileson inspired front bonnet. Those bespoke wheels are wrapped in a tyre compound developed especially by Pirelli as a tribute to 20 years of the Zonda.

While Pagani has one for himself, two more were built and auctioned. If you fancied one, you had to be among a selected few customers of Pagani, and own a minimum of two Paganis to even be considered. Clearly then, Horacio wanted this to end up in the hands of someone who really deserved it. Today he is still very much active, having designed and produced the successor to the Zonda, the Huayra.

In many ways the Zonda is the Phoenix of the automotive world; as long as there is the will and the Italian palms crossed with gold , it will always be resurrected and live on. May it live on for many years to come. If you've made it this far, congratulations! You have successfully traversed 48 editions of the Pagani Zonda. No doubt the future is yet to yield even more editions of this iconic machine. All images belong to their respective owners.

Special thanks to Paganihistory. Awesome collection of pieces of art and engineering! I don't know why I couldn't link it. Pagani is something truly special. I hope I can have the chance to see you one of their cars.

Although the car is based off of the Cinque, the custom parts allow the vehicle to get its own individual look. Pagani were comissioned to build a one-off convertible Zonda in Monterey Blue, that features the engine from the rare Cinque hp 7.

The latest Zonda variant is this Tricolore special edition. Like the Cinque, the Tricolore has numerous special features Read More.

A special one-off built for Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani, a member of the royal family of Qatar, famous for his turquoise car collection. Originally, the car was a Zonda F Roadster that was crashed and rebuilt. Commissioned by Super Vettura UK. Pagani decided that a Zonda R for the road was a good idea so they spent a year developing the Zonda RS.

Lewis Hamilton wanted one, but with a manual gearbox. Welcome to the world Pagani Zonda LH. When an Asia-region customer wanted a Zonda faster than the Zonda R with his own personal touches, Pagani complied. The Pagani Zonda Passione is the result. It is similar in spec to the LH.

For , Pagani released the Zonda Revolucion. This is an evolution of the track-only Zonda R, that has a more powerful Mercedes-Benz V12, automated aero and a lighter carbon-titanium central chassis. Personally specced by Horacio Pagani himself, the car was required to remain in situ for at least six months. Unlike other special edition Zondas, the LM has revised headlamps. The Oliver Evolution is the closest variant built to a road-going Zonda R.

Unlike any other Zonda in the continuing series, the Oliver Evolution's wing is split into two and made entirely from carbon fiber. The AG Roadster is another one-off customer car by Pagani. It is very special because it is the first Roadster of the ultimate Series. It was for a customer in Dubai. The latest limited Pagani is called the Zonda MD. It has apparently been under development at Pagani for several years and is now finally ready.

Previously a Zonda F, the internals were upped to specification, Cinque bits attached to the outside and finished in a white on black on blue paint scheme. The open-top supercar is an lightweight version of the Zonda which is rumoured to weigh just 1,kg and just three units of the car will be manufactured. Another Zonda special one off, it shares a lot of parts from the Zonda Cinque but has some special features.

The car also has door straps instead of normal door handles to save weight. It is finished in Blue carbon with gold accents. It was inspired by the Zonda tricolore. This was an F that was crashed, and therefore upgraded to the Cinque spec and then called the Absolute Evo. It is now a matte-black, right hand drive Cinque roadster. In during the Pagani Raduno in Italy, the Danubi was revealed. It is rebuilt from the owner's Zonda F and is finished in white with blue carbon body parts. In during the Pagani dinner where the Zonda Venti was unveiled, Pagani also introduced the Oliver Roadster which is owned by the same owner as the coupe.

The Pagani Zonda Venti was unveiled in during a private event. It is finished in Dark green with dark brown interior, it is equipped with a 6 speed manual gearbox. This was originally a Zonda F, which has been rebuilt into another Model. Finished in full carbon, it features a Cinque-style wing. Purple paint, wheel spats, a 3D-arrow shape on the bonnet and LM-style ducktail rear light make for one interesting sight.

This Zonda went to Japan where else with a spec like that. This used to be a Zonda F, and you can tell. It still has that much more simple wing, coupled with a Cinque style roof scoop. This also has the bhp engine. Another one-off, made for Mileson Guo, who also owns that awesome purple-and-gold Agera Zijin. This awesome car is arguably the most unique Zonda - it has some new lights, where the LED running light curves around the outside of the headlight cluster, wraparound rear lights just like the Zonda LM, JC like front winglets and an absolutely massive wing.

Like most of the one-off Zondas, this one has the sequential gearbox and the engine. The blue carbon, based roadster was a dream for spotters, as Mr Pagani said that it should be at the dealer for at least 6 months without being moved or sold. A one of two race car Zonda that actually competed.

It was an amazing car, based on a C12 but with BHP, and one of them competed in various championships, and even raced at the Le Mans 24 Hour, but retired just a few laps in with a gearbox fault. Then, it had a massive crash in a race at Most Circuit in Czech Republic. The car was pretty much destroyed in a crash in , but the team have since fixed it and it apparently still competes in some championships.

There were many iterations, each more extreme than the next. That wing is masssssivvveee. This is the Zonda Nero, which was originally a C12 7. This car is very… stealthy.

It has black paint, black tail lights and even black windows. It has also had Zonda F parts upgrade, hence the new splitter and wing. It also features a Tricolore-esque fin. After going through a few owners, it now lives in London, but is rarely driven. This used to be the weird horizontal exhaust Zonda, but it had an accident and had to be rebuilt.

Therefore, Mr Saywell upgraded it to a spec. Instead if being white, yellow and exposed carbon, its blue and carbon. Still has yellow calipers. This car skidded on an oil slick in late , before being rebuilt. This, like all s, will do in 2. One of the coolest Zondas. I mean, look at it! The wing is bigger than the car! There is literally no information on this car whatever.

If anyone does know anything about this car, please give me a bell! A Cinque look-alike, but in yellow. I like it in yellow. This was a one-off that was meant for a German customer but it never saw the road. Also a shame. If it were real, it would be the predecessor to the line, but with 10 less horses. While bright purple may not entirely suit it, it was the first Zonda to have a dorsal fin, which is smaller than the fins, going into a Cinque style wing. It was a customer order that was cancelled at the last minute, which is a shame, as I rather like this style.

The car that it was going to be built on was the Nonno. That leads to a time of 2. Only 15 were made, but even if you did see one it would probably be gone before you could notice! But you would notice of course. Rather fast as well, heading round the Green Hell in You need new gigantic front canards, a dorsal fin, and a 49bhp bump up to bhp! Finally, the last chapter of the Zonda, there was the Revolucion. This car is truly mental.

While it keeps the bhp V12 from the Zonda Evo, it is lighter than the Zonda Evo thanks to new brakes. What makes this car even quicker than the rest is the DRS system. This allows for less grip on the straights and more grip in the corners. While no official Nurburgring time has been released by Pagani, there is evidence that one of the 5 cars had lapped the green hell in , over 15 seconds quicker than the Zonda R.

This was the Zonda Fantasma. We think! Not much is known about this car yet to be honest. I think we can safely assume that it has more power, as very little visual changes have happened. They only changes I could find are the little mouth lights are gone, and the seats are the same as the Huayra BC. Very cool. It now has a more aggressive front end, with double canards instead of single, and a dorsal fin has been added.

It was a cold, wet morning in October of , and while Peter Saywell was driving the Zonda PS MKII to Goodwood for his trackday, he hit an oil slick and speared into a barrier, tearing off the nose Peter was fine.
