When is yarn bombing day 2017

Thank you! Mind you, it was raining in our part of Kent so not so good today to pop out and yarnbomb. I love seeing knits and crochets making the streets, the piers, the trees etc so pretty though I have never taken part. Sadly, a few years ago a yarn shop owner friend did and almost immediately the local council removed it, despite it not being an obstruction.

Maybe next year …. I love seeing little yarn bombs out and about too! The council here seem to leave mine alone fortunately! These look so amazing. I know that YarnBombing day has passed but I am tempted to put something up in my community. I have a question though. How do you know how big to make it?

Do you measure what you intend to yarn bomb first and then go home and make it? Yarn bombing anytime of year… absolutely! As for attaching it, yes — think about where you want it to go and then make your crochet accordingly.
