Tower of babble how many players
Use a turbine to leave the power room and get back to the bus, but don't forget to pick it up again. Two players then walk back the way the bus came to get back to the cornfield and the overhead power line pylon that is there. One player needs to get back on the bus and ride it to the town where the bank is. Step 3: Once you have found your way to the pylon through the corn field, knifing the little goblins on the way when they jump on you Don't hate them, they just want a little love , you need to put 2 turbines down inside the base of the pylon, you will be safe from the goblins here too.
When the electrical storm is overhead at the cornfield, kill the remaining zombies to start a new round. Some guides say that doing this when the storm is overhead guarantees that the electrical man will appear in the cornfield, though in my experience this hasn't been the case, but it doesn't hurt to wait until the storm is overhead, just incase.
Step 4: You may need to fight a few waves of zombies until the electrical man appears, but when he does, wait for him to get into the centre of the pylon base, then EMP him to kill him.
Loads of weird stuf will start happening then at the pylon. The player at the Diner should then put down his turbine under the street light outside the shed with the white doors at one end of the area, this will turn the light on. The player at the town should run back down the road the way they came on the bus knifing goblins that jump on you until they get to a street light and put the turbine down under it. Achievement Unlocked. EDIT: You don't necessarily need four players, or four turbines, but my guide just explains how I managed to do the achievement.
Also why do some people call this an Easter Egg? If there is an achievement for it it's not an Easter Egg. Seeing as TA wont let me post my solution because I accidentally deleted mine I'll post my tips here instead. I've done this easter egg three times today so listen up!
Make sure you also have a good connection. Crawlers will die. Hug the right side walls through the mist. In order to spawn the electric zombie this lightning pattern must be running when the zombies begin to spawn the next round not only when the round ends so you have to end the round as soon as the right lightning starts not once its been going for a few seconds if you miss it you'll have to wait about another 8 minutes.
I am unsure of 4,5, and 6 but i believe we've consistently had him spawn on around round 7. The remaining walker s are your lifeline and also your death sentence at this point. You will fail here consistently. But the more you try, the better you get until eventually no one will die. If you come to a lava pit that seems impassable and almost is you've gone the wrong way go in the opposite direction. When everyone is at the power bus stop wait for the bus and then everyone there should get on it.
Pick up new turbines as you pass by spawn. If you have a walker with you try get him off the bus at each stop if he gets inside, having him running behind the bus is ideal however hanging of the window is fine too as long as you keep repairing it and everyone gets to their stops before he dies or downs you. When ready put both turbines under the tower down first, then the other two.
Wait a few seconds and the achievement will pop and you will be able to breathe again! Your best players should be the ones staying with the walkers as even for extremely good zombie players, no juggernog combined with the stress of this achievement will see even the best of us go down time and again. If the last person on the bus is alone and has the zombie with them and he gets on the bus this happened to me on my third completion PANIC.
I stayed on and avoided him but alternatively you could get off and try and run it as its actually a higher chance of survival than being in the bus alone with a walker without juggernog [as long as you don't have to try make it across the lava]. Final tips -If at any point you do HAVE to try and make it across the lava, wait until you've just killed a denizen and your health is restored then run while jumping across the lava.
If a denizen attaches itself to you after you make it across or while you're jumping across you will die. You can shoot the denizen by waiting until you hear it then turning around immediately and firing into the air usually one hit will kill it.
Making it across the lava is mostly luck and only partly skill. I verified this by completing the egg on my same account and the other 3 players didn't get the achievement until I switched accounts and we did it again.
Unfortunately, seeing as I have no other accounts I won't be able to help anyone else other than with these words of wisdom ; This has been the longest comment ever.
Happy hunting and happy failing coreymawf Posted by coreymawf on 18 Nov 12 at Good guide and a much more in-depth comment. Thanks for that. Nice guide!! I may offer a few helpful suggestions that may mitigate anyone have any difficulties with this. You can go to the tower and all stay there and fight off the waves. It helps out in the fact that if a teammate goes down somewhere else they are of no help. Yes they can respawn but will trigger another round.
Also you can put fans on the green light at the Bus Depot spawn and Diner and get the achievement. This negates any risk of someone wandering out of town into the mist and making a mistake. These are suggestions that may make the fight a little easier. Great guide and thumbs up!! Posted by InigoMontoya80 on 19 Nov 12 at Thanks, good suggestions.
Posted by EvilMoomin on 19 Nov 12 at Can you knife the electrical zombie or do you have to use EMP grenades. Posted by mado on 19 Nov 12 at We killed him by knifing and under the pylon with turbines up and it didn't work so yeah it must be emp. Also killing the last zombie right at the peak of the storm will definitely make the electric guy spawn it just takes practice to get the timing right.
Posted by NJDuke on 20 Nov 12 at Alternative start: I highly recommend having people play solo at least once or twice before the easter egg run and store money in the bank. The manikin is resting against the map of the bus route in the middle, the fan is on a chair right next to the bench and the tail fin is on the floor by the telephones. Remember to pick up one each! This turbine can be used to power the doors that you can't buy like the ones right next to the bench.
Once at the power station you will notice a lot of scrapped cars and an outhouse straight ahead. Buy open this door points and drop down into the power room. To be able to turn on the power you must first build the power switch switch, control panel and zombie forearm. All of the parts can be found in the power room. Step 4, EMPs: Arrive at the town to collect all those points you earned and stored previously. Then, waste all of those hard earned points on the box until one of you eventually get EMPs.
Place both of your turbines at either corner of the pylon's base, proceeding to hold out until the electric dude decides to turn up. Once he is within the vicinity of the pylons base throw an EMP and collect your turbines. If you want to help out with someone else's easter egg run, you will need to make sure that they're the host and that you join their session in progress If the host has the easter egg completed, nobody in that game can earn it.
However, the game you complete this easter egg in can also give out a free-of-charge acheevo to anyone that joins. If THE HOST has built this before it will already be built if any other player has previously built it, the table will still need to be built again for the host regardless. The meteor rock can be obtained from the small crater left in the side of the bus depot at the start to the left as you exit. The table can be found in the power station once you drop down from tombstone either in the dark corner or on the crates or the tunnel in between the bus depot and the diner.
The radio can be found on a cabinet in the garage at the diner or in Nacht der Untoten which is located in between the power and the farm, across the corn field on the other side of the road from the pylon. The electric box can be found in the farm house to the left of the refrigerator or at town besides the dumpsters, the mystery box can spawn by.
Now you must turn on the power and leave it on. The jet gun made using a coil of wires, jet engine, handle and a gauge can be assembled at the bench in the bar at the town across from the bank. The coil of wires can be found in the same area as the table of the obelisk table down from tombstone either on a barrel, the box right as you drop down or on the floor near the crates. The jet engine can be found in the tunnel in between the diner and the bus station.
The handle can be found in Nacht der Untoten which is located in between the power and the farm, across the corn field on the other side of the road from the pylon on either of three shelfs.
The gauge can be located in the hunter's cabin in between the power and the town stay hugging the right side as you approach town and you won't miss it. Then Richtofen will complain how there still needs to be more power. Once he shows up, use two turbines near the tower and kill him inside the fence with an EMP Grenade or Galvaknuckles.
All of these must be used to fully kill it. Maxis will say you need more power if done correctly. The final step is to send two players to two different street lights with their turbines you can remove the turbines from the tower if you only have two players. The players may need to go at specific street lights. For those who don't know, there are several street lights on Green Run. They are located at and in between bus stops. Using Turbines on the street lights will turn a green light on.
If a Denizen walks under it, a portal will open, allowing players to jump from one spot on the map to another. Special equipment can be built at the fifth bus stop Town before taking on Him. Unlike all the last Buildable Equipment, these pieces must be collected between bus stops.
It's best to collect them after getting decent perks and weapons. Kill many, many zombies until Dr. Richtofen speaks again. Richtofen will say there's too much power and it needs to be reduced. All four players must now go to four different street lights around the map. There's one at each bus stop and sometimes one between bus stops. Some may require a turbine to turn the light on, and some are always on. Each player must take a Denizen underneath the lit street light to create a teleporter in the ground.
You need to find the sweet spot where it says "pres 'X' to build" right where the fence is by the tower. Build this by Workbench in Town Bar and hear Richtofen say.. Step 5: Take Jet cannon to NavCard reader by tower of babble and start shooting at the stone, this will heat the Obelisk and the gun explodes.
Hear Richtofen speak Richtofen should now say this "large group of zombies Step 8: Every player should box for EMP grenades now and stand next to 4 green lights and use them exactly at same time. You will hear Richtofen say "yea u did it. Flames will cover earth.. Tower of Babble. Maxis says he needs more power.
While 2 players do this, the other two can stay by Power so when he is about to be captured next to tower one of them can then turn the power off.
This is a less painful method. Step 3: Have 2 other players go to Town and Diner or any street lamps and tell them to place their turbines.
Achievement unlocked "Tower of Babble". Congrats you have now finished the Tower of Babble Easter Egg. Achievement get. Richtofen side: Create a portal in the Depot and Diner. Megaton A 7 posts. You both put your pieces down before I had put the table down! I am positive the answer is yes. Or Pinnaz. You can do it with me and two other site bronies in a week!
I'm down bro. Busy this week though, but Did you skip the Navcard part, or do you not need it? You described how to build the Navcard reader, but not where to find the Navcard itself.
The reason I ask is I was playing with some friends, and I had a Navcard from a previous game. I got the reader built and it told me to insert the Navcard, but when I tried to it said "Wrong Navcard". My friend then noticed he had one even though he didn't remember picking it up but we died before he could try using it. So if you do need it If the host has it, does everyone spawn with one? A pair of obelisks usually stood in front of a pylon. Ancient obelisks were often monolithic, where as most modern obelisks are made of several stones and can have interior spaces.
